Mr. Devaney was Supervisor of Electrical Maintenance at Allied Signal in Kansas City, MO, for 26 years, before retiring in 1975.

He was a 4th Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus, a member of B.P.O.E., and was an adult leader of the Boy Scouts of America for 26 years. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Parish in Kansas City, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife. Dennis worked for several years for Sears, and later became a sales representative for several Pharmaceutical companies including WarnerChilcott, Parke-Davis and Smith, Kline Beecham. Dennis was known for playing Santa in his sales territory for the last eight years, with the proceeds going to the Noyes Home, an orphanage in St. Joseph, MO. Dennis and Jacqui have spent twenty years adopting and caring for strayed, unwanted, injured, sick and abused animals on their small acreage near Rayville.
